Rapids Foodservice Contract & Design provides complete hospitality and restaurant design, restaurant equipment, interior design and food service consulting. Our team of experienced designers and project managers have been responsible for the layout, development and design of bars, full service restaurants, franchise restaurants, school cafeterias, office employee cafeterias, deli's, bakeries, casino buffets, hotels, prisons and espresso cafes all over the United States.
In 1936 Rapids Inc was founded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Rapids merged with Advance Contract Equipment and Design, a Minneapolis based group of food service equipment professionals with many years of experience. Together they formed a food service and hospitality design company that meets the standard of quality and customer service that we believe our clients deserve. Our company has been responsible for the design and implementation of dozens of new and remodeled facilities all over the United States.
Our goal is to create facilities that are attractive, functional and labor efficient. We achieve this goal by listening to our clients and considering their needs, goals and budgets. By considering these things, our direction and suggestions, will help create a functional end product that the client can afford and be proud of. Our team members come from many different backgrounds, and we believe that with roots in food service operations, financials, architecture, interior design and equipment maintenance, we understand the long term benefits to good planning, specifying quality components and project management.
